The Building Regulations 2018 were released last week and involve changes that affect the maximum costs of property information from council from 2nd June 2018. The new regulations set the maximum costs of Building Information and Legal Point of Discharge (LPD).
• Building information to change to 3.19 units
• LPD is now prescribed and will be 9.77 units as per Regulation 36(4)
The fee unit value between 1st June – 31st June is $14.22, and from 1st July will increase to $14.45. Refer unit pricing announcement here.
There may be slight variances in prices however PSI estimates they should be similar to the below:

Please note if you have jobs lodged with PSI that are not currently titled, if they title after 2nd June the cost for the LPD and Building Information will be at the new fees set by council.
